My Story

I’ve always been drawn to movement, connection, and the quiet moments in between — though it took years to realize I was truly searching for a deeper connection to myself.

Born and raised in Germany to Italian parents, my life has been a journey between cultures, disciplines, and worlds. I first discovered presence through sport, playing professional soccer until I was 18, before following a conventional path: studying economics and working for multinational corporations. Though I achieved professional success, I felt increasingly disconnected from meaning and simplicity.

In my mid twenties, I left the corporate world behind and spent a transformative year traveling through 10 countries. I immersed myself in new cultures and languages, rediscovering the joy of connection, curiosity, and just being.

That journey led me to Thai Yoga Massage, which opened a profound new chapter. I was meant to stay two weeks in Thailand — but deliberately missed my return flight to continue my studies, immersing myself in the beautiful energy of this ancient healing art. It was there I first encountered Qi Gong, a practice that has stayed with me ever since.

Recognizing the importance of combining traditional wisdom with a strong foundation in anatomy and professional bodywork, I moved to San Diego, California in 2012 to study at IPSB College and become a certified Holistic Health Professional & Massage Therapist. I also completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Encinitas.

Since then, my path has taken me across Thailand, India, Laos, and Bali, deepening my studies in Yoga, Qi Gong, and holistic bodywork. In 2019, I formalized my long-standing Qi Gong practice with a certified teacher training in Bali with Forest Rock Qi Gong.

Out of this diverse experience, I developed SOUL IN TOUCH, a method that integrates bodywork, movement, and personal transformation. To support this work, I created my own yoga style called YogaQiFlow — a flowing practice combining Qi Gong principles with embodied Yoga to prepare both myself and others for bodywork and deep inner connection.

Today, I live in Tenerife with my partner Alice and our three sons, Noah, Jonah, and Elia, at Casa el Riego — a space for community, healing, and sustainable living. Through the SOUL IN TOUCH Academy, I offer massages, Qi Gong, Yoga, bodywork trainings, and community retreats for people who, like I once did, feel caught between two worlds: craving a meaningful, embodied life beyond their roles.

My mission is simple: to help people slow down, feel themselves again, and rediscover joy through presence.

The slower you move, the more you feel.” — Marco Bartolomeo
