This retreat invites you to step out of the fast pace of everyday life and into a more natural rhythm.
Through movement, time in nature, nourishing food, and shared experiences, you are gently guided into a space of rest, connection, and presence.
Whether you are seeking to slow down, recharge, or simply step out of your daily rhythm, this retreat offers a gentle balance of movement, nature, and shared experience.
Through YogaQiFlow, Massage, Qi Gong, time in nature, nourishing food, and moments of connection, you are invited to return to a more grounded and natural way of being.
Come as you are.
Leave feeling lighter, more connected, and deeply nourished.
A Gentle Introduction to Conscious Touch
Within the retreat, you will be introduced to elements of the SOUL IN TOUCH approach in a natural and accessible way.
Rather than focusing on technique alone, we begin with awareness — learning how to arrive, ground, and connect before offering touch.
Because the quality of your presence shapes the experience you create.
Through guided sessions, you will explore:
- how to center yourself and work from a place of awareness
- the art of conscious, compassionate touch
- simple Thai Yoga Bodywork techniques and assisted stretches
- how to listen to the body and respond intuitively
- basic principles of body mechanics for ease and sustainability
These sessions are designed as an introduction — allowing you to experience the essence of the work without pressure or expectation.
Integrated into the Retreat Experience
Conscious touch is one element within a wider retreat journey.
YogaQiFlow, Qi Gong, time in nature, nourishing food, and shared experiences all support your ability to slow down, feel more deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
Rather than learning in isolation, everything is woven into the rhythm of the week — creating space for integration, rest, and genuine connection.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is open to anyone who feels the need to slow down, reconnect, and step into a more natural rhythm of life.
It may resonate with you if you:
- feel the need to pause, rest, and recharge
- are drawn to movement, nature, and holistic practices
- wish to reconnect with your body and inner balance
- are curious to experience conscious touch in a gentle and accessible way
No experience needed
You don’t need any prior experience to join. Come as you are — with curiosity, openness, and the willingness to slow down.
For those with experience
- If you are already working in yoga, bodywork, or other holistic fields, this retreat offers a space to step out of “doing” and return to feeling.
- Rather than focusing on learning more techniques, it allows you to deepen your presence, sensitivity, and connection — qualities that naturally enrich your work.
A note on learning and integration
This retreat is primarily an experience — a space to reconnect, slow down, and explore holistic practices in a natural and accessible way.
You will be introduced to elements of the SOUL IN TOUCH approach, not as a formal training, but as an invitation to experience conscious touch through presence and connection.
For those already working in holistic fields, the retreat can offer inspiration and new perspectives to gently integrate into your own practice.
If you feel called to deepen further into professional bodywork training, additional Professional Training are offered separately. Click HERE for more info.
Be in community
We are not meant to do life alone.
Throughout the retreat, you will experience the beauty of being in community — sharing movement, meals, conversations, and moments of stillness.
A space where you can feel supported, seen, and connected — just as you are.
Back to the Roots Retreat – at Casa el Riego, Tenerife, Spain
Casa rural el Riego is a 120-year-old house on an ecological finca on the Eastern side of the beautiful island of Tenerife which is still authentic and very calm.
The house offers 6 guestrooms with private bathroom each and a 4x12 meter salt-water pool for common use with splendid views on the mountains and the sea.
The finca and the house are maintained in a sustainable and ecological way. We eat what we find in our gardens (and other ecological gardens), freshly prepared and with love.
